These are the best Firefox addons and I use them everyday or close to it. Whether they’re fun or functional, these extensions are sometimes necessary to get the job done. Granted, this list might be similar to others, but they’re good to me. If you don’t already have it, Get Firefox . It is safe, secure, and extremely customizable. It was the best software switch i ever made. Enjoy the list.
1. Stumbleupon : I have to start with this one. You may have heard of it before. This simple social bookmarking addon changed my experience of the internet. Basically you click on a toolbar button and it brings you to one of the millions+ of cool sites that normally wouldn’t have the chance to be seen. All your favorite topics can be selected. The system is based on a thumbs up/thumbs down feature so if it gets too many thumbs down, the site will be dropped leaving only the best of the best. It reinvented the world wide web for me and I know it will for you. Have fun with the web again. Make sure the first thing you do is to update your topics depending on your likes.
2. FireFTP : The easiest and quickest FTP program I’ve ever used. Completely integrated into a tab for ease of use. I suggest it for anyone that uses FTP to transfer files.
3. Tab Mix Plus : A superb addition to firefox. There are a multitude of options and isn’t restricted to just tabs. Necessary for people like me that have on average of 15-50 tabs open at once. Makes organization a LOT easier and even adds a percentage bar behind the text of each tab regarding the status of how much of the page is loaded. Has session restore and many other features.
4. Gmail Manager : Manages multiple Gmail accounts seamlessly. I use it everyday. I have two work Gmail accounts, one personal, and one for random stuff. One click and your Gmail box is opened. Safe and Secure.
5. Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer : If you use more than one computer, this addon is for you. Does just what it says. It synchs your Firefox bookmarks with a secure central database. You can even log on to the database web page and manage all your bookmarks from any computer with internet access.
6. Download Statusbar : Instead of opening the download window it just displays all the time left and percentage information in the status bar at the bottom of Firefox. Much less intrusive, simple, and clean.
7. IE Tab : I know i know. IE sucks but people still use it. This is for the developers that need to see what their website project looks like in IE without actually having to open a new IE window.
8. CooIiris Previews : Half fun, half functional. Rollovers of every link (text and image) opens a preview of the page/image. It’s integrated with Google Images and many other popular sites so for me, being part graphic guy, it’s extremely helpful in seeing the full image quickly without opening a new tab or window.
9. FlashGot : An addition to the context menu. Right click on a web page or link and it will manage downloads for one, some, or all the links on a page. Good for downloading photo sets and directory structures. Can also complete partly downloaded files. Your download manager on steroids.
I assume most of you either use firefox or are planning to. What’s an addon I don’t have listed and you can’t live without?

I think ad block is one of the best Firefox add-ons. My system runs so much better after I installed it.

Use Google Adsense to start earning money with your blog, but gradually as your traffic increases, keep adding more and more money making programs to your site.
