I recently signed up for Entrecard and I love it. If you don’t already know, Entrecard is a free advertising service for bloggers that’s based off of virtual currency given by "dropping" your card onto other Entrecard users’ sites and vice versa. After signing up I looked for simple, free Entrecard badges for the U Drop I Follow movement (founded by Lee Doyle). While there are a few that are nice, I wanted something that would have the same colors, design, and size of the original ad. I’m kinda of picky about graphics so I made a few Entrecard badges that would fit. If you redistribute them please link back to this post. If you just use em under your Entrecard Ad it would be nice if you could link back to me somehow, but as all good free stuff goes it’s not (and shouldn’t be) necessary. Just right click the image you want and click "Save Image As…". Comment this post and tell me what you think. Enjoy.

entrecard is pretty good for getting tons of traffic fast. but the time spent on site by visitors is pretty short.

@glen: thanks. i also created the images from scratch because of the design i wanted. i actually didn’t create anything, just used the original entrecard graphics and fit to size. so i can see how easy it would to follow the same steps to get exactly the same graphic. i just wanted an image instead of a wordpress widget.
@shamin: i agree…shorter than usual. but it’s till free traffic and hopefully builds comments which is good for seo.

I used to be a lee doyle fan but he has quite a few dead blogs and non entrecarders on there now and doesn’t update the list – if he did I’d be in. I’d rather a widget that enabled everyone to chip in a few credits and offer competitions every week -that would really pull the traffic in!

yeah i hear ya. i got enough widgets and plugins and all i really needed was the badge. figured i’d make different sizes while i was at it. and as far as not being a fan, i feel credit should be given where credit is due for starting the whole “movement” and all…right?
